Set up Lesson Calendar

Set up Instructions                  

The first thing we need to do, (before we start our on line lessons), is to Download Various Materials, then set up the Downloaded Materials & Set up Programs that you will need for instruction. So We’ll need to: A.)  Receive Educational Materials: B.)  to Send and Receive,  Written Materials , We’ll also need to Set up software to: C.) Communicate Visually & Audibly during on line lessons as well as D.)  Scheduling Your  ”Live Video Follow Up Lessons”.  Let’s get started!!!!  Skype &  [Lesson Scheduling - Super-sass]

  1. 1.Find The E-Mail From Us:    Go  to your E-mail and you will find an  E-mail from Tim@TimothyBigSticksPope.com, click on it and You will be taken to the  “Policy Page”.

  2. 2.ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS then you will be directed to the HOW TO page, This has written instructions as well as YOU TUBE videos to assist you in setting up the Calendar, Skype and downloading lessons. If you don’t need to use them, just click on the link that says “ CLICK HERE TO PROCEED TO LESSON DOWNLOADS” This will take you to the Lesson Download Page.

  3. 3.“The Lesson Download Page”:  When looking at the “Lesson Download Page”, You will see “Lesson 1”.  Click on the “Buy it Now” Button next to “Lesson 1”. Once you press “Buy it Now” you will be taken to “Pay PaL” to purchase the lesson. After your purchase,  the lesson Download is then generated and is sent to you.

  4. 4.“Pay PaL“:  If you have a “Pay PaL“ Account, you can continue through the “Pay PaL” Payment Process for Purchasing the Lesson and the “Lesson 1” Download will be Generated & sent to you.  [If you don’t have a “Pay PaL” Account, please take a minute to set one up.  Setting up a “Pay PaL” Account allows you to use different methods of Payment, (through Pay Pal), for on line purchases.  (For New “Pay PaL” Users).  After setting up a “Pay PaL” account, new “Pay PaL” Account users can go on to purchase and receive the “Lesson 1” Download.]

  5. 5.The Downloading Process:  Go Back to your Emails and you will find an Email from “Timpo School Of Music.com”. Open that Email and you will see: Thank You for your purchase &  DOWNLOAD. Click on “Download” and the Download process will begin.  The time it takes to download the lesson could take from 30 min. to 5 hours Depending on your Internet  speed. (The Faster your internet  speed, the shorter the download time will be.)

  6. 6.Download Placement:  Both PC & Mac Computers usually prompt you to, or automatically place Downloads in the computers “Download Folder”. You will find the lesson material in that folder after Downloading it, (unless you direct the computer to place it elsewhere.)

  7. 7.“ Unpack Zipped Folder”:  After the  Downloading Process is finished, go to your Download folder, and find a “Zipped Folder” called  “Lesson 1”  There will be 3 items in that Folder.  [(1-Video’s), (2-Pdf/Written Files), &  (3- a Read Me first File.)]  Double Click, (left click),  on that Folder and it will open & extract  into those three files. (Previously mentioned).

  8. 8.Folder Contents:   When you double click on the 1-“Video folder”, you will see a number of brief instructional Video’s. When you open the 2-“Pdf folder”, you will see Written Materials, (as seen & explained in the Video’s),  for you To print and place in your 3 ring bound notebook for further studies.

B- Important Information Regarding your Downloaded and Live Follow up Lessons.  C- Links and Passwords for the Course.  D- Lesson Download Page. (www.TimothyBigSticksPope.com/tbsp/Lesson_Download.html)  E- Practice Track Download Page. [Music for Practicing to/99c per track or $5.00 for each package.] You can purchase those through Pay Pal as well.   1. 10.The Live Follow Up Appointment Calendar:  (This is for Scheduling your LIVE FOLLOW UP LESSONS): With your first visit to the Calendar, you will need to set up a Calendar Account. (It’s Free!!!)  After your initial Calendar account is set up,  you can then sign in to the Calendar to schedule your future “Live On Line Live Follow up Sessions”. 

To set up your Calendar account:  Click on the following link and it will take you to the On Line Lesson “Live Follow Up Appointment Calendar”.: http//www.supersaas.com/schedule/online_Lesson_Calendar/Online_Lesson_Calendar   Once you are there, plug in the Password on the Log in Page. (Password is: woodshed).  You will then be taken to a page to set up your account by plugging in your contact information: Name, E-mail, Address, Your Time Zone, (Very Important), & other information,  to establish your own password for your account. As you finish plugging in your contact information, you will be taken into the calendar itself.   Over to the right you will see a Calendar. The dates in “White” are Available and the dates in “Blue” are unavailable. When you click on an available date, a Daily Calendar will appear, click on your desired time and a box will appear with your information in it.   Make the time Reservation by Clicking the “Create Reservation Box” and your lesson reservation is made. (You can see your Reservation on the Calendar).

  1. 11.Skype:   Skype is a Program/Software that we use to Link your Computer Camera to the Internet.  Skype also allows us to simultaneously text, e-mail, and communicate several ways while video conferencing between student and teacher is in progress.  If you haven’t already set up a Skype account, (as Discussed in Orientation), You can Download it here: www.skype.com. After your Skype account is set up, add www.TimpoSchoolOfMusic.com to your contacts listings to easily allow communications.


That’s it!!,  You’re Done with your Basic Set up for lessons!!!!! Time to Start On Line Lessons!!!!
